Spaceopal was on stage as the Galileo Service Operator in the EGNSS Service Provision Workshop, contributing with a talk from one of our Service Delivery Managers. The presentation shows the role of Spaceopal into Galileo and how the Galileo operations are organized and managed in close coordination with the European GNSS Agency (GSA). The major achievements make the pride of 2019 as the insertion of four new satellites in the constellation (GSAT0219,GSAT 0220, GSAT0221 and GSAT 0222), the entry into operation of the new infrastructure of the GNSS Service Centre and the successful operations handover between Galileo Control Centres.
The EGNSS User Assembly is the item in the agenda where user needs and requirements are covered. GSA presents the User Consultation Process (UCP), a cyclic process held every two years where users analyse needs and potential requirements for each market domain. An update of the reports on User Needs and Requirements is released and accessible through the GSC website. Spaceopal plays an active role in the UCP, assessing the user needs to potentially inject new requirements into the system.
This event serves as well as the starting point for the Galileo User Satisfaction Survey. Every year, users can raise their voice and provide feedback to Galileo programme through this poll Results are taken into account and implemented in our objective to improve Galileo services.
Every day, Spaceopal supports Europe with the objective to guarantee the most widespread adoption of Galileo.
